Job Description

In Experian Analytics and Platforms, we are building the world's smartest, most scalable platform for financial institutions. We bring together world-leading data, AI and ML tools, and world-class cloud engineering to support fast, thoughtful and fair decision-making across consumer finance. Our Ascend Technology Platform powers billions of lending decisions, fraud detections and consumer interactions every year across all of Experian's global markets.

As Director of Tech Programs and Operations you will be a leader in our journey to grow the Ascend Technology Platform across more of Experian's businesses and expand our latest-gen capabilities in GenAI and ML.

You will:

  • Lead a team of 5+ technical program managers and scrum masters supporting SDLC and tech programs across Analytics, Platform and GenAI development, working with an organization of 250+ engineers
  • Design program plans and oversee working teams for our highest-priority strategic programs, ensuring excellent outcomes, on-time delivery and budget discipline
  • Partner with senior leaders in Product, Engineering and Architecture across Experian's businesses to build partnership, support platform adoption by global dev teams, and align tech delivery
  • Work with our SVP of Analytics and Platform tech to shape team goals and strategy and improve execution

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience leading successful tech or business transformation programs, including multiple business groups or tech teams
  • Deep experience with Agile software development at scale, across multiple scrum teams and 100+ developers
  • Experience engaging both with deep technical experts and senior business leaders
  • Experience writing for varied audiences including senior execs, engineering teams and
  • Experience of direct line-management
  • Familiarity with cloud technology - particularly AWS - and AI/ML capabilities (strongly preferred)
