Position Summary

The Director, People Technology Enablement, will be the lead technology strategist on our People Team. You will be at the center of many teams that are working together to deliver an innovative, disruptive and effective technology strategy and technology stack that is fully aligned with our multi-year ambitions, business strategy and people strategy.

You will stay connected with market innovations and disruptions. You will have a strong and deep understanding the tech / product landscape, continuously leading us through the art of the possible. You will champion a tech-enabled mindset across the People Team, ensuring we leverage technology to simplify processes, create standout experiences, and adapt quickly to the evolving needs of our teammates and Village. And you maintain a full view of the people teams tech stack, ensuring they are meeting our performance expectations, appropriately connected to another, and delivering a strong teammate experience.

Core Responsibilities

·       Set Technology Strategy & Priorities: Partner with key leadership within the People Team and IT to set the strategic direction for technology enablement within the People Team. Organize and prioritize tech resources and initiatives that align with our transformation projects and solutions. Ensure we have a long-term people technology roadmap with a clear arc for the short and mid-term.

·       Lead Technology Initiatives: Provide leadership and oversight for the technology project portfolios.  This includes assessing automation opportunities, identifying requirements for new tools, ensuring viability within our functions, and managing the implementation of these solutions.

·       Champion a Tech-Enabled Mindset: Lead with a tech-enabled, strategic mindset, using data synthesis and storytelling to make the case for change, drive execution, and measure impact.

·       Drive Execution and Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between the People Team and IT, ensuring strategy and execution are aligned. Manage relationships with cross-functional partners and senior leaders to drive lasting adoption of new processes and tools.

·       Develop Technology Playbooks: Own and create “products” to enable successful tech implementation across the People Team, such as Tech-Enabled Implementation Guides and Change Enablement Frameworks for deployment of technology solutions across the People Team.

Key Qualifications & Capabilities

·       7+ years of progressive experience.

·       A tech-enabled strategic mindset, with proven experience leveraging technology to solve complex business problems.

·       Proven experience leading large-scale technology transformations in the HR space from concept through implementation with tangible, measurable impact.

·       Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build strong relationships with partners, particularly IT, to drive shared goals and execute on a strategic vision.

·       Deep understanding of agile development and deployment methodologies.

·       Strong capabilities in problem framing, hypothesis-based problem solving, and root cause analysis.

·       A disruptive and innovative mindset with a track record of using experimentation and agile methodologies.

The Salary Range for the role is $114,000.00 - $181,000.00 per year.
