Director of Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

As the Director of Talent Acquisition & Recruiting, you will lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and execution for our quickly scaling company. Operating as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our recruiting strategy, fostering strong partnerships with cross-functional “customers”, and leveraging data to enhance our hiring processes. Your expertise in technology, including the use of AI, will be crucial in ensuring the function operates at the highest level. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that requires both strategic foresight and tactical excellence in a fast-moving tech environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we grow intentionally, effectively, and at pace.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Recruiting Function: partner with VP People to develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for both technical and non-technical recruiting

  • Optimize the Recruiting Function: ensure the recruiting function is efficient, effective, and capable of meeting hiring demands by continuously improving our processes and policies to align with best practices

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: leverage data and analytics to drive improvements in hiring velocity and to track progress and identify areas for improvement; create a culture within the team of being data-driven.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: collaborate with leaders across the organization to understand talent needs and raise the talent bar for hiring; provide insights and recommendations to optimize hiring efforts.

  • Technology and AI Integration: as an AI company, we embrace a technology-forward approach to create efficiencies and areas for automation and this person will be the same; explore and implement new technologies to streamline and improve processes

  • Employer Brand Recognition: build and enhance our employer brand to position the company as an employer of choice; implement creative marketing strategies to drive higher inbound talent; highlight our culture, values, and offerings

  • Strategic and Tactical Leadership: demonstrate the ability to set strong strategies while also being able to dive into the weeds and execute as needed; champion a world-class recruiting function by focusing on development and output of team

Role Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with a minimum of 3 years leading talent acquisition teams

  • Proven success scaling hiring in high-growth tech environments (Series A to Series C heavily preferred)

  • Previous experience designing and operationalizing recruiting processes that are data-driven, compliant, and effective

  • Extensive experience in driving automation and efficiencies through AI and technology

  • Deep technical knowledge and a strong network across engineering, product, and design talent communities

  • Proven success in building out employer branding strategies that drive inbound talent

  • Strong proficiency in ATS platforms (we use Ashby) such as Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse as well as sourcing tools and recruiting analytics

  • Willingness to lead in a hands-on, high-performance environment

  • Passion for developing and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence

  • Expertise in leveraging data and industry benchmarks to improve recruiting strategies and outcomes
