The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality hires through innovative strategies, processes, and tools. This role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and stakeholder management to support the company's growth and talent needs.

         

          

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Recruits, develops, and sustains a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and partnership across the organization. The leader will foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a forward-thinking, proactive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, building trust, providing insights and guidance to make informed talent decisions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive process improvements, leverage data for insights, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Technology & Tools: Implement and optimize recruitment technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Employer Branding: Strengthen the company's employer brand through strategic partnerships and targeted campaigns.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies: Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes. ​

Required Job Qualifications
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of leading and developing teams.
  • Strong understanding of talent markets and recruitment technologies enabling market insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • 4+ years leading leaders is preferred
  • Experience working in a Product Operating Model environment.

We accomplish this by offering a wide variety of market competitive compensation programs to attract, reward, and retain top talent. The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $158,271.00 - $214,132.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
