The Opportunity:
The Director, Systems Manager will lead the administration, optimization, and integration of critical enterprise systems, including Salesforce, Workday, Google Workspace, HubSpot, Slack, Workplace, and additional IT infrastructure. This role ensures seamless operation, robust system security, and alignment with Gloo360's strategic objectives. The Director will oversee system administration, manage integrations, and drive process improvements while leading a team of technical experts. With a focus on automation, system reliability, and end-user satisfaction, the Director ensures operational excellence across Gloo360's technology ecosystem. This position is remote based at our headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.
What You'll Be Doing:

• System Administration & Automation
• • Oversee user access management, including account creation, password resets, and permissions across platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Workday, and Salesforce.
  • Implement and manage automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, managing MFA, SAML SSO, and role-based access policies.
• Platform Management
• • Google Workspace: Administer accounts, shared drives, email routing, and security policies.
  • Salesforce: Oversee platform management, including data quality, security, and integration with other systems. Partner with contractors for solution design, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Workday: Manage modules such as HCM, payroll, benefits, and recruiting, ensuring seamless integration with external systems like Active Directory and Google Workspace.
  • HubSpot and Slack: Ensure efficient usage, user access management, and integration with organizational workflows.
  • Also includes any other SaaS tools or platforms Gloo360 acquires to serve its customer base.
• System Integration & Data Management
• • Design, develop, and maintain integrations across platforms using APIs and middleware tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to align integrations with organizational needs and data governance standards.
  • Monitor data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and synchronization across all systems.
• Infrastructure Oversight
• • Manage infrastructure systems such as AWS Hub, SFTP servers, and mail relay services.
  • Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions for VMWare, AWS environments, and on-premises systems.
  • Administer video production servers, badge systems, and other facility-based technologies.
• End-User Support & Documentation
• • Provide Tier 2+ support for advanced user issues across platforms like Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including troubleshooting guides, system configurations, and process workflows.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure user proficiency and adoption of system capabilities.
• Leadership & Team Development
• • Lead a team of system administrators and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Provide strategic direction for system improvements and team growth.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical system issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Process Improvement & Reporting
• • Develop best practices for system governance and operational workflows.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, uptime, and user satisfaction.
  • Regularly update leadership on platform enhancements, issue resolution, and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing Workday, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data management.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams or vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred certifications in Salesforce Administration, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Preferred experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure management.
• Preferred proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell)

Compensation: $150,000 - $210,000
