Department OverviewGlobal Supply Planning manages the inflow of purchased materials into Motorola DCs and directly to customers for fulfillment of customer orders.
Job Description
This pivotal leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape and execute the APAC supply planning strategy for Motorola Solutions, Inc. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Supply Planning, you will spearhead all inbound supply activities from our diverse APAC and Middle East supplier network, encompassing sophisticated EMS, JDM, and ODM partners, as well as accessory suppliers. You will be the operational linchpin, ensuring seamless supply flow to meet revenue goals and enhance customer experience. This position provides significant cross-functional visibility and fosters rich learning interactions across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics Operations/Procurement, and Supply Chain software systems (ERP/Supplier Collaboration). You will gain invaluable exposure to Senior Director and VP+ leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
APAC Supply Chain Leadership: Own and drive the end-to-end supply planning functions for the APAC and Middle East regions, encompassing direct and drop-ship processes.
Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate strong operational relationships with a diverse portfolio of suppliers (EMS, JDM, ODM, accessories) to ensure reliable and efficient material flow.
Global Process Owner: Lead coordination and synchronization efforts between APAC and N. Am. Supply Planning processes, templates and standard work
Revenue and Customer Alignment: Collaborate closely with Business Operations and Delivery Management to synchronize supply plans with revenue targets and optimize the customer experience.
Operational Excellence: Lead the operational execution of supply plans, including establishing and managing operational cadences, evaluating inventory strategies and impacts, approving/denying cost implications, and overseeing component safety planning.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key customer and regional owner for Supply Planning processes, ensuring adherence to cadences and effective utilization of Supplier Collaboration tools.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of 3-5 direct reports at the Manager or Senior Manager level, with oversight of an extended team of 75+ employees.
Strategic Initiatives: Actively participate in strategic business initiatives from concept to implementation, contributing supply chain expertise and insights.
Problem Solving and Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and resolve core challenges and capitalize on opportunities within business processes.
Insight and Analysis: Provide insightful analysis and reporting on the company's operations to inform decision-making.
Risk Management: Assess and communicate potential risks associated with business decisions.
Organizational Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
International Travel: Expect regular international travel on a quarterly basis, with potential for more frequent travel depending on operational needs.
Additional Qualified Skills:
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and best practices.
Experience with ERP and Supplier Collaboration software systems.

Target Base Salary Range
$139,000.00 - $278,000.00Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
