The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.

The Director of Solution Strategy is a highly strategic, cross-functional leader responsible for driving enterprise operational initiatives. This individual will work closely with operations to assess performance, identify  key initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements. This role demands a strong background in healthcare operations, elite organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at both granular and executive levels.

As a senior leader, this individual will partner with cross-functional teams to quantify the ROI and business impact of leveraging internal resources. They will also establish and manage a structured process for prioritizing and intaking initiative requests, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as the primary liaison between operations, product, and engineering to ensure alignment on enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Assess operational performance, identify gaps, and develop strategic initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Bring a structured project management model to the organization, ensuring a disciplined approach to initiative execution.
  • Lead and facilitate monthly prioritization and update meetings to provide visibility on initiative progress.
  • Maintain a structured intake process for initiative requests, ensuring clarity in prioritization and resource allocation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify key stakeholders across the organization and facilitate collaboration to drive initiatives forward.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, operations teams, and other departments to connect the dots between business needs and solutions.
  • Build strong relationships and trust with internal teams, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Effectively communicate initiative status, impact, and progress at both tactical and executive levels.

Project & Initiative Management

  • Lead project management efforts for enterprise operational initiatives, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact.
  • Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned with broader company goals and strategic priorities.
  • Drive agile execution while calibrating the appropriate level of detail needed for decision-making.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making & Business Impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to quantify the ROI of using internal resources for strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure initiatives are prioritized based on business needs and expected impact.

Qualities we're looking for:

  • Healthcare experience required – deep understanding of operational challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Strong project management skills – ability to implement and optimize project management frameworks.
  • Elite organizational skills – highly structured, detail-oriented, and effective in managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills – able to articulate complex concepts at both tactical and executive levels.
  • Highly strategic mindset – ability to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive meaningful business impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Agility and adaptability – able to move quickly, calibrate priorities, and adjust approaches as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7+ years in strategic operations, project management, or solution strategy roles.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or health-tech environment.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional enterprise initiatives.
  • Background in product or engineering collaboration, with an understanding of business impact assessment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Target Pay Range: $180,000.-200,000/year - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Bicycle Health is a telemedicine group that specializes in the evidence-based treatment of individuals with Opioid Use Disorder using buprenorphine. We’ve grown our clinical staff of medical providers caring for patients, across 32 states, and we employ a large ancillary staff for support with technologic and administrative needs, clinical and behavioral support, and care coordination. Our innovative model has achieved clinical outcomes that exceed expectations for standard-of-care in-person treatment nationally. Our mission is to increase access to high quality, affordable, convenient and confidential Opioid Use Disorder treatment for all.
