RegScale is a continuous controls monitoring (CCM) platform purpose-built to deliver fast and efficient GRC outcomes. We help organizations break out of the slow and expensive realities that plague legacy GRC tools by bridging security, risk, and compliance through controls lifecycle management. By leveraging CCM, organizations experience massive process improvements like 90% faster certification times, and 60% less audit prep time. Today’s expansive security and compliance requirements can only be met with a modern, CCM based approach, and RegScale is the leader in that space.

Position:

Are you ready to accelerate your career by joining a fast-growing, mission-driven startup that’s transforming the compliance industry? RegScale is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing Solutions Engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in driving pre-sales success, customer value realization, and technical strategy across our go-to-market efforts.

In this leadership role, you’ll lead technical engagement across the enterprise sales cycle—from discovery and solution architecture to proof of concept and customer onboarding. You will also help shape our product direction by translating market feedback into strategic requirements and work closely with the Product team to build what customers want. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy mentoring technical talent, and are passionate about solving meaningful customer problems, we’d love to meet you.

Position must be a US Citizen and is subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements. We know how valuable your creativity and technical skills are to our company’s success, and we offer an exceptional salary and benefits package commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. If you’re ready to lead our Solution Engineering team to deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers, then this is the place for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact team of Solutions Engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
    • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success leadership to define the technical sales strategy and execution to optimize customer outcomes.
    • Develop scalable programs and assets (demos, proof-of-concept frameworks, integrations, etc.) that support repeatable sales motions and accelerate deal velocity.
    • Own technical aspects of major strategic deals and provide executive-level support during complex sales cycles.
    • Play a major role in enabling cross functional teams on the product capabilities.
  • Customer-Facing Execution

    • Serve as a senior technical advisor to enterprise prospects, communicating the value of RegScale’s platform with clarity and credibility.
    • Guide customers through solution architecture, technical design, data ingestion, and integration planning.
    • Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and customer inquiries.
    • Represent RegScale at industry events, webinars, and customer forums as a thought leader in compliance automation.
  • Operational Excellence

    • Establish key performance metrics to track team effectiveness, win rates, and time-to-value.
    • Standardize demo environments, use cases, and onboarding assets to improve repeatability and scale.
    • Capture competitive intelligence and ecosystem insights to guide product direction and enablement content.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing Sales Engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Cybersecurity expertise in deploying, operating, or selling cybersecurity products
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering technical sales presentations, POCs, and integration demos for B2B enterprise customers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, FedRamp, RMF, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, CMMC, etc.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.), data integration, APIs, and cloud platforms.
