About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years of sales management experience

What will you be doing in this role?...

  • Lead team or teams of sellers to meet their individual and collective objectives.
  • Develop and implement advanced sales strategies to drive significant revenue growth.
  • Foster skill development through coaching, mentoring, and addressing performance issues as needed.
  • Oversee the management and influence of assigned territories, creating and driving high-impact strategies for sustained long-term revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Demonstrate exceptional sales and negotiation skills to influence key stakeholders and effectively manage cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and build opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and developing new business initiatives within large, high-value accounts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and market conditions to effectively position the company’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to influence strategic initiatives and provide input on the overall business strategy.
  • Manage a team or teams of sales representatives and managers.
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of the teams to achieve operational or functional targets with significant contribution towards immediate and long-term results for the department and organization.
  • Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices, and procedures within a broader area of responsibility.
  • Shape strategic initiatives at the department level and provide significant input on strategic initiatives for the organization.
  • Deliver consistent and timely coaching, guidance, and feedback to encourage success and promote growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of opportunities.
  • Own decision-making for staffing decisions for the teams.

Our team focuses on driving research excellence, empowering researchers to take today's global challenges and helping our customers improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. We are proud that 99% of the world’s top 400 universities rely on our solutions to advance research, teaching and learning.

In this role, you will be leading within an established account management team, dedicated to managing the relationship between Clarivate and our Corporate as well as Federal Agency partners.  Through a consultative approach, we provide research, content, and technology solutions to our customers in the US.

Compensation - US Only

The expected base salary for this position is $153,600- $192,000 USD per year.  This role is eligible for (incentive or bonus) earnings.  Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors. 

In addition to a competitive remuneration package, you will be eligible to participate in a benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, life insurance, 401k with match, long term disability coverage, vacation, sick time, volunteer time, discount programs, and many more. 

Hours of Work

  • Full Time, remote role
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours across regions and time zones worldwide
