About the role:The Director of Sales – North America will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial sales strategy across hospitals, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and related healthcare verticals. This role leads a high-performing team, expands enterprise relationships, and champions Intelliguard’s value proposition to senior healthcare executives.
This leader will be accountable for revenue growth, forecasting, territory planning, and building a scalable, repeatable sales framework aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare technology sales leader with a track record of success in capital equipment, SaaS, supply chain automation, RFID, or medication management solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive North American sales strategy predominantly focused on the US market, to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and refine go-to-market tactics.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align on messaging, pipeline generation, and customer engagement.
Sales Management
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales executives and account managers to exceed performance targets.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting methodology to ensure pipeline accuracy and accountability.
- Implement scalable sales processes, including territory planning, account segmentation, and enterprise selling frameworks.
Business Development
- Build and strengthen executive relationships within hospitals, IDNs, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and related healthcare ecosystems.
- Lead enterprise-level negotiations, proposals, and contract execution.
- Identify opportunities for channel partnerships and strategic alliances to increase market reach.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay market feedback, feature needs, and customer insights.
- Support Marketing in creating targeted campaigns and attending key industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Work closely with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding, high adoption, and long-term client satisfaction.
Required
- 10+ years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within healthcare technology, med-tech, or pharmacy automation.
- Proven success selling into hospitals, health systems, IDNs, or pharmacy markets.
- Strong understanding of capital equipment, RFID/IoT solutions, clinical workflow automation, or medication management technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40–50% across North America.
Preferred
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, subscription models, or recurring revenue solutions.
- Background in RFID-enabled solutions, inventory management, or healthcare supply chain analytics.
- MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
