Your role at Clorox:

As the Director if Sales - Strategic Grocery you will own overall business results with assigned Customer. You will provide leadership, prioritization and alignment of organizational resources to enable execution of effective and profitable business plans.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage our People as Business Owners: Coaches, develops, empowers team members as appropriate. Actively manages staffing needs and succession planning for team. Has a track record for development of direct reports. 40%

  • Drive the Business: owns execution of volume, net sales, AMPS and profit objectives for Customer team. Owns policy deployment and compliance. 30%

  • Customer Planning and Strategy Development: Drives an integrated and cross-functional business planning process. Owns allocation and prioritization of resources. Owns senior management penetration and relationship development with Customer. 20%

  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Ensures Team has knowledge and tools to drive growth. Brings awareness and education of Customer needs, market dynamics and partnership opportunities to internal stakeholders. 10%

What we look for:

  • Typically requires 10+ years of CPG experience

  • Significant Clorox external (Field/Customer) or equivalent experience

  • Clorox internal (Sales Planning) experience beneficial

  • Significant Clorox and Customer knowledge

  • Cross-functional knowledge and influence•

  • Broker Management

  • Customer Leadership and development

  • Consultative/Solution selling

  • Customer Business Planning (Diamond Planning process)

  • Broker Management and Influence

  • Expert on Clorox matrix, processes and policy

Workplace type:

This role is open to talent within all Clorox Hub locations and remote internal employees. If within a Clorox Hub location, you will be in office 3x per week in accordance with the Hybrid 2.0 Return to Office Policy.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $175,100 - $360,700

–Zone B: $160,500 - $330,700

–Zone C: $145,900 - $300,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
