- 5+ years of direct sales experience and 3+ years leading outbound sales teams
- Proven success in complex, multi-threaded sales cycles targeting IT decision-makers
- Background selling into IT and/or background in Telecom is highly preferred
- A coach-first leader who thrives on developing talent and building high-performing teams
- Comfortable with metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management
- Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and energized by fast-paced change
- Strong communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levels
- Denver location and experience with Hubspot preferred, but not required
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of 6–7 Sales Consultants
- Partner with SVP of Sales on hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Drive outbound pipeline generation and sales execution
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, review KPIs, and manage quarterly quotas
- Collaborate cross-functionally (primarily with Marketing and Client Services) to improve processes, tools, and outcomes
- Champion a culture of recognition, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Help shape the future of zLinq’s sales strategy and organizational growth

Per Colorado pay equity posting requirements, the base compensation for a Denver-based Director of Sales role is between $140,000 and $155,000 depending on the candidate experience level. The role also has a potential 100% variable earning component, based on quota attainment. If this role is hired in a location other than Denver, the compensation will be geographically adjusted.
