Overview of Role

66degrees is searching for an exceptional and dynamic Director of Sales, West to drive growth within their designated region. This critical leadership role requires a proven ability to manage complex, high-value sales cycles, mentor a team of talented sales professionals, and contribute significantly to the company's growth strategy. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of 66degrees' innovative AI, Data, and Cloud solutions, helping our clients transform their businesses.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Vision & Data-Driven Execution:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with 66degrees' overall business objectives and channel partnership goals.
    • Utilize market insights, sales data, and analytics to identify new growth opportunities, optimize sales processes, and forecast regional revenue accurately.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and measurable targets for the sales team.
Leadership & People Development:
    • Recruit, onboard, and ramp  high-performing team of sales professionals specializing in complex solutions.
    • Provide expert coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to elevate individual and team performance, particularly in navigating multi-stakeholder deals and long sales cycles.
    • Foster a positive, results-oriented, and resilient team culture that encourages continuous learning and adaptability.
    • Empower team members to take ownership, innovate, and achieve their full potential.
Product & Market Expertise:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of 66degrees' comprehensive offerings, including AI/ML, Data & Analytics, Cloud Infrastructure, and Application Development services.
    • Develop and continuously refine knowledge of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and the specific business challenges faced by clients in your region.
    • Guide the team in positioning 66degrees' solutions to address complex customer pain points and deliver tangible business value.
Customer-Centric Engagement & Complex Sales Leadership:
    • Oversee and ensure the successful execution of strategic, complex sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery to solution design, negotiation, and closing.
    • Ensure the team maintains a customer-centric approach, focusing on understanding client needs, building long-term relationships, and exceeding expectations.
    • Provide hands-on support and strategic guidance on key deals, helping the team navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes within large enterprises.
Collaboration & Communication:
    • Act as a pivotal liaison between the regional sales team and internal stakeholders, including solution architects, delivery teams, marketing, and executive leadership.
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless client experiences and effective solution delivery.
    • Communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively with team members, customers, and senior leadership.
Operational Efficiency:
    • Leverage Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to manage the regional pipeline, track performance, and report on key metrics.
    • Implement and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency, reduce friction in the sales cycle, and enhance overall productivity.
 Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B technology sales, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role (e.g., Regional Sales Manager, Sales Director) managing complex, enterprise-level sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth in a consulting or professional services environment, ideally within cloud computing, AI, or data solutions.
  • Deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem and related technologies and certifications are a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex organizational structures, managing multiple stakeholders, and orchestrating intricate sales processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to inform strategy, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing and empowering sales talent.
  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build trust within a diverse team.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced, evolving market.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce highly preferred) and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as required within the designated region and nationally. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
