JOB DESCRIPTION

This role provides thought leadership, project management, and cross-functional team enablement for a specific area of Sysco's transformation. The Senior Manager bridges strategy and execution of key transformation initiatives for the Global Support Center (GSC) and field.

Pay Range $105,000 to $155,000
This role is eligible for participation in a discretionary incentive plan. Incentive amounts are based on individual and company performance and are not guaranteed

Purpose

This role provides thought leadership, project management, and cross-functional team enablement for a specific area of Sysco's transformation. The Senior Manager bridges strategy and execution of key transformation initiatives for the Global Support Center (GSC) and field.

Responsibilities

  • Drive organizational progress and ensure accountability and results within the work team.
  • Ensure alignment of Sysco's vision and strategic priorities within the work team.
  • Ensure proper resource deployment and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Help set the work team's tone with the leader, working independently to leverage data and analysis.
  • Support and lead an agile working style.
  • Collaborate with GSC, market teams, and regions to identify/resolve issues, meet objectives, and address opportunities/challenges.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and ensure completion of core transformation activities and processes.
  • Serve as a thought partner and resource to the work team leader.
  • Ensure Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) updates and work products meet expectations.
  • Partner with the work team leader to clarify transformation objectives and success metrics.
  • Identify opportunities and build plans to test transformation hypotheses.
  • Manage dependencies across functional teams (including Business Technology (BT), Labs, etc.).
  • Partner with Finance to establish and track KPIs.

Skills

  • Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, generating creativity and insights to meet agile deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and self-starting with insightful and timely communication of learnings and recommendations.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, connecting credibly with stakeholders and translating business insights for action.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Functional understanding of Excel and advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Extensive working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree

Experience

9+ years of experience, of which at least 5 leading a team

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands/fingers to operate computer equipment.
  • Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms
  • Travel Requirements

    0-25%
