Director of Sales – SKS, WestRole Overview

The Director of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing SKS's sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen customer relationships. This position provides strategic direction and operational leadership for the sales organization, ensuring alignment with company objectives while building a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture.

Operating at both strategic and execution levels, the Director of Sales partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize sales performance, and position SKS as a trusted partner within its target markets. This role is responsible for achieving revenue goals, expanding key accounts, and establishing scalable sales processes that support long-term business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve annual and long-term revenue objectives.
  • Own sales performance, forecasting, pipeline management, and overall revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and strategic accounts to expand SKS's customer base.
  • Develop growth plans for existing customers through account expansion, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and business development initiatives.
Customer & Business Development
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and prospective clients.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts and strategic opportunities.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for high-value customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Represent SKS at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Sales Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and organizational performance goals.
  • Establish clear sales objectives, performance metrics, and accountability measures.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture focused on customer success and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent as the organization grows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership to align sales initiatives with company priorities.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Work closely with Finance on pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
  • Provide customer and market insights to support product development and service enhancements.
Sales Operations & Performance
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility.
  • Establish scalable sales processes, CRM best practices, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure disciplined account planning, opportunity management, and sales execution across the organization.
Strategic Leadership
  • Contribute to the company's strategic planning process and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for geographic expansion, new market penetration, and strategic partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and organizational capabilities.
  • Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing insight into market conditions and business strategy.

  • Achievement of annual revenue and gross profit goals.
  • New customer acquisition and strategic account growth.

Recruiting Range
$170,000$192,000 USD
