We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Sales – Franchise Division to lead growth efforts within the franchise market. This role will spearhead expansion by targeting franchisors and franchisees, building strong partnerships, and driving revenue for the franchise division.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of selling services or solutions into franchised organizations, deep experience in business development, and established relationships across the franchise ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Franchise Sales Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting franchisors and franchisees to drive sustained growth.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, events, referrals, and outreach to franchise systems.
- New Business Development: Secure new franchise clients and establish long-term partnerships.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and manage relationships with franchisors, franchisees, and vendors within the franchise ecosystem.
- Strategic Partnerships: Develop referral and strategic vendor partnerships to expand reach and visibility in the franchise sector.
- Sales Process Management: Lead the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and presentations through negotiation and close.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal sales, marketing, and leadership teams to align strategies and create tailored solutions for the franchise market.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track sales activity, maintain accurate forecasts, and report progress toward revenue targets.
- Industry Presence: Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and franchise industry events (travel approx. 25–35%).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in business development or sales, with at least 5 years focused on selling into franchises (franchisors and/or franchisees).
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success securing and growing franchise client relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the franchise industry, including current trends, challenges, and key players.
- Network: Established relationships with franchisors, franchisees, and related vendors.
- Hunter Mentality: Self-starter with the drive to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
- Experience with outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services for franchise organizations.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25–35% for industry events and client meetings
