Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will lead technical customer engagements for hyperscale data centers, bridging engineering expertise with strategic business development. You'll craft customized solutions for industry-leading clients while serving as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and implementation process.
Key Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for hyperscale and enterprise customers
- Lead site tours, technical sales calls, and customer design reviews
- Drive proposal generation and RFP responses with technical expertise
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that address specific client needs
- Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions
- Provide strategic insights on emerging technologies to clients and internal teams
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance technical proficiency across the organization
- Partner with sales, product development, engineering, and operations teams
- Provide technical feedback to drive continuous product and service improvement
- Balance technical requirements with business realities around cost, timing, and sustainability
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 7+ years of hands-on technical data center engineering experience
- Expert knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel (up to 55% of time)

- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure design, construction, and operations
- Experience leading technical conversations with decision-makers and site selection teams
- Strategic thinking with exceptional problem-solving abilities · Knowledge of sustainability practices in data center operations
