Director of Sales - Connected Living and Digital Commerce

Remote US based - San Jose/West Coast US preferred

Jabil is leading the charge in the rapidly evolving Connected Living and Digital Commerce sector. With a global footprint of over 100 manufacturing sites and world-class design and engineering capabilities, we are uniquely equipped to drive innovation and scale in this dynamic market. We are looking for a seasoned Director of Sales with over a decade of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Contract Manufacturing (CM) industry. This role demands a strategic, consultative sales approach—where complex, high-value solutions are crafted through deep collaboration and long sales cycles. Success hinges on building and nurturing executive-level relationships within key target accounts to deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.

What can you expect to do?

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with corporate and sector-specific goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Connected Living and Digital Commerce sector.
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships to support consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to qualify opportunities and align on strategic direction.
  • This is a high-level individual contributor role focused on a diverse portfolio of products, including AR/VR, action cameras, safety & security, drones, home appliances, outdoor living, personal care, point of sale, warehouse automation, and self-service solutions.

Sales Execution & Customer Engagement

  • Apply Jabil’s structured sales methodology from prospecting through post-sale follow-up.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage the full sales cycle, including RFQ analysis and contract development.
  • Leverage Salesforce to manage pipelines and target new opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and alignment with internal teams.

Technical & Market Expertise

  • Partner with design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver innovative, customized solutions.
  • Promote Jabil’s global capabilities and services to prospective clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to guide sales strategy.

Performance & Forecasting

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and expense budgets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Global Coordination

  • Work across Jabil’s global manufacturing network to ensure seamless project execution from design to delivery.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of sales experience in the EMS/CM industry, with a strong focus on the Connected Living and Digital Commerce market. The products are in the range of AR/VR, action cameras, safety & security, drones, home appliances, outdoor living, personal care, point of sale, warehouse automation, and self -service.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a history of driving revenue growth in a highly competitive market.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of manufacturing processes, design, and engineering principles as they relate to the EMS/CM industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
  • Customer-Centric: Strong customer focus, with a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing industry, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

The pay range for this role is $159,600 - $287,200. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: September 30, 2025.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; paid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; in 2025, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly; 401(k) retirement plan; and employee stock purchase plan.
