Position Overview 📝

As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will be a critical partner to our sales leadership team, driving go-to-market strategy and operational excellence. Reporting directly to VP, GTM Operations, you will be responsible for connecting the dots across various operations teams, owning sales metrics and reporting, and ensuring consistent execution of our go-to-market strategy. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and the ability to partner with sales leaders to execute strategy and ICP focus. You will play a key role in our annual planning process.

As the Director of Revenue Operations at Atlan, you won’t just help us execute an effective GTM strategy - you’ll help transform how we do it. Reporting directly to the VP, GTM Operations, you will be the architect connecting the dots across operations, sales, and strategy. You will own critical sales metrics and reporting, streamline processes, and ensure flawless execution of our GTM vision.

This isn’t just about keeping the engine running - it’s about enhancing and optimizing it to drive greater impact. We believe AI and automation will revolutionize how sales teams operate. This could be anything from using AI to automate territory planning and forecasting, to deploying machine learning to analyze win/loss trends and surface insights we might otherwise miss. This role will lead the charge in building smarter, faster, and more scalable sales operations.

We’re looking for a leader who sees AI not just as a tool, but as a mindset and who can inspire our Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Leadership to do the same.

What will you do? 🤔

  1. Drive Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop territories and quotas, run forecast calls, and drive consistent GTM strategy, while embedding AI-driven forecasting tools and automated insights into each step of the process.

  2. Data-Driven Insights: Own all sales metrics and reporting, leveraging automation and machine learning to uncover conversion patterns, deal velocity signals, and nuanced win/loss drivers that inform coaching, strategy, and ICP refinement.

  3. Operational Excellence: Manage headcount planning with finance and ensure seamless execution between operations teams, introducing AI-powered workflow automation to remove manual bottlenecks and enable the team to focus on high-impact work.

  4. Sales Enablement: Run internal QBRs and create AI-assisted reporting and performance dashboards for managers, making it effortless to track and act on key performance drivers.

  5. Strategic Planning:Play a key role in annual planning, using predictive models and scenario simulations to guide data-backed decisions for revenue growth.

  6. Sales Leadership Partnership: Serve as the primary interface with sales leaders, equipping them with actionable insights, automated playbooks, and the AI-powered tools they need to succeed.
