Role and Responsibilities
- Drive growth and increased share for Samsung by developing leadership plans and strategies that drive results at the “last three feet” of consumer experience, where “sell-through” is critical to success
- Partner with customer channels to funnel critical Voice of the Customer (VOC) inputs related to Samsung products and go-to-market strategy and execution
- Collaborate with marketing, category sales, product development, and operations to achieve the sales objectives identified by the company
- Development of sales strategies, product introduction plans, schedules, and budgets
- Lead Channel Sales team to achieve the best and most profitable product sales opportunities in the North American market place. Ensure that financial resources and incentives are used to optimize increased revenue, maximize sell through, and achieve profitable results
- Develop strategies for sales channels and identify results to be achieved within each channel of business
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and business relationships which results in the achievement of increased revenue and profitability
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customer leadership to pursue new profitable business opportunities and product developments and to increase market share
- Spearhead the recruitment, motivation, development and retention of professionals who can deliver sustained (profitable) revenue growth
- Instill a culture of accountability and empowerment, performance-based management, teamwork and other best practices to achieve the goals of the organization
- Leverage market and internal analytics to develop a go-to-market strategy in support of Samsung objectives, including account and product line specific programs
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred and at least 12+ years relatable experience in sales, within a related industry
- Up to 40 % travel required: Up to twice per quarter travel to HQ in New Jersey on average and account base
- Previous experience required leading teams & managing accounts across regional or national retailers
- Demonstrated skills as a change agent, leader, and performance coach t develop talent
- Strategic thinking and passion for achieving near & long-term success via hands on, solutions-oriented approach
- Strong business acumen, superior analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and initiatives to drive top/bottom line growth
- Proven ability to successfully develop and own a customer relationship and strong track record of building collaborative internal/external relationships
- Excellent negotiator and influencer, leveraging business analytics & insights to achieve desired outcomes
- Self-motivated, self-directed, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, highly organized with the ability to manage timelines and objectives effectively
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with strong presentation and facilitation abilities required
- Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, V-look ups, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of consumer sales/marketing principles
- Experience in supporting and facilitating cross-departmental interdependencies
- High-level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that fits a fast-paced, energetic and proactive organization

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:
- California: $190,500 to $235,000
- Colorado: $166,500 to $205,500
- Illinois: $166,500 to $205,500
- Massachusetts: $174,500 to $215,500
- Minnesota: $166,500 to $205,500
- New Jersey: $190,500 to $235,000
- New York: $190,500 to $235,000
- Vermont: $150,500 to $186,000
- Washington State: $182,500 to $225,500
