What You'll Do
- Sales Leadership: Provides leadership, direction and support to a team of sales professionals. Sets individual and team performance goals.
- Team Development: Recruits strong sales talent. Coaches team members and develops skills. Inspires and motivates the team. Proactively establishes a backfill pipeline of candidates.
- Performance Management: Tracks sales performance vs. goals. Provides feedback on areas for improvement and implements training initiatives. Works closely with the HR Partner.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborates on regional and national sales strategies and initiatives. Identifies opportunities to improve sales processes.
- Customer Relations: Interacts with key accounts within the region. Ensures customer satisfaction and retention, addressing any escalated issues.
- 5+ years sales management experience, including experience with recruitment and development
- 10+ total years of experience in sales
- Track record of success leading teams to meet/exceed sales targets
- Strong experience in sales performance management and coaching
- Excellent leadership, team building, and coaching skills
- Strong analytical abilities and data-driven approach to performance management
- Expert knowledge of sales techniques, CRM systems, and managing pipelines and accurate sales forecasts
- Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt sales strategies based on industry trends and competitive forces
- Experience in legal tech/SaaS sales management
- Experience developing and executing sales training programs
