Director of Regional Demand Gen & Field Marketing

Location: Fully Remote, must reside in USA

Job Overview:

As the Director of Regional Demand Gen & Field Marketing, you will be accountable for driving measurable pipeline and revenue growth by aligning state-specific demand generation and field marketing programs to regional sales priorities. Your primary focus will be on designing and executing localized acquisition, demand generation, and conversion acceleration strategies that deliver high-quality leads, nurture prospects, and accelerate opportunities to close.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Regional Sales, National Demand Gen and ABM Marketing, Product Marketing teams to translate business goals into relevant plans. Acting as the bridge between corporate strategy and state-level activation, you will ensure consistent messaging, unified branding, and high-impact program delivery across every stage of the funnel.

Qualified candidates will bring a proven track record in regional demand generation and field marketing, with additional experience in ABM strategies that enables close collaboration with central teams and more effective regional execution.

Job Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth:

  • Own state-specific funnel goals and connect marketing and sales objectives into actionable demand generation strategies.

  • Build and execute multi-channel demand gen campaigns (leveraging digital paid media programs and digital channels) to fill the funnel, nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close.
    Partner with sales leadership to define account prioritization, state-specific funding and legislation plays, and pipeline acceleration tactics.

  • Measure program performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI; optimize campaigns to exceed KPIs.

Regional Field Marketing Strategy:

  • Manage a team of regional and field marketing professionals to deliver localized demand gen, field marketing programs, and presales support.

  • Develop state-specific marketing plans that reflect buyer dynamics, funding cycles, competitive pressures, and customer needs.

  • Ensure regional messaging aligns with corporate brand while resonating with local decision-makers.

  • Maximize the impact of field events, trade shows, conferences, and digital activations to generate pipeline and advance opportunities.

Sales & Marketing Alignment:

  • Partner with the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Directors and managers to co-develop state strategies and jointly aligned marketing/sales activities.

  • Provide sales with targeted tools, content, and insights that enhance positioning in competitive cycles.

  • Drive alignment through shared KPIs, joint pipeline reviews, and integrated planning.

Campaign & Content Activation:

  • Curate and adapt regional content (case studies, guides, landing pages, presentations) that fuels demand generation and supports the full buyer journey.

  • Collaborate with national marketing, demand gen, and product marketing teams to activate corporate-led campaigns locally.

  • Leverage experience with ABM to align with central programs, ensuring regional activities support account-focused strategies when appropriate.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing regional demand gen and field marketing team.

  • Allocate resources effectively and remain agile in response to shifting state or account priorities.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across sales and marketing, including customer success as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing with proven demand generation and field marketing expertise.

  • Demonstrated success in building regional programs that deliver measurable pipeline growth and bookings.

  • Experience working with ABM programs (in partnership with corporate teams) highly preferred.

  • Background in K–12 software/services is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Track record of delivering regional demand gen programs that directly drive pipeline and revenue.

  • Exceptional experience in multi-channel campaign development (events, digital, content, partnerships).

  • Exposure to ABM strategy and execution and measurement of ROI.

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze pipeline performance, measure ROI, and optimize campaigns.

  • Proven leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, marketing automation, and related tools.

  • Creative, results-driven problem solver with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
