Job Description

As the Director of RCM Performance, you will lead a dynamic team focused on analytics, customer reporting, and project management to drive revenue cycle management (RCM) success. This role is pivotal in evolving RCM reporting and analytics to deliver actionable insights that enhance customer performance and departmental financial outcomes. You’ll serve as a strategic link between operations and finance, leveraging data to forecast revenue, optimize labor models, and identify process improvements while maintaining strong, professional communication with customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team with expertise across healthcare provider revenue cycle processes.
  • Set objectives and guide initiatives to achieve RCM financial and customer performance goals.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for workflow or technology improvements.
  • Drive business and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Build and manage monthly RCM revenue forecasts by customer, including labor staffing models.
  • Prepare detailed performance reports, variance analyses, and actionable insights for leadership.
  • Collaborate with finance on invoicing, revenue recognition, and accrual processes.
  • Develop predictive operational metrics and monitor performance against targets.
  • Own financial planning and analysis for RCM, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to influence strategies and implement best practices.
