By delivering objective, data-driven research, program planning and development, technical assistance, implementation, post-implementation analytics, and evaluations, OSC/Lewin supports current program activities, informs future program investments and supports strategic decision processes that improve the health and well-being of the nation's citizens.
The Director, Quality & Model Implementation will lead the development of quality strategies to support implementation of value-based care reform initiatives, including aligning implementation approaches with model goals and payment design. From a relationship and business growth perspective, s/he will support the development of new client relationships, attaining new contracts, and broadening the firm's work.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous refinement of quality strategies to support the implementation of value-based care payment models
  • Translate payment model goals, quality measures, and payment incentives into a cohesive quality implementation strategy to drive improved outcomes
  • Direct a team of quality analysts to support development and refinement of approaches
  • Direct the development of technical assistance and training materials to support quality measurement implementation activities
  • Engage, develop, and cultivate existing client relationships through policy consultation and thought leadership
  • Mentor other staff to develop their technical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Identify and shape new business opportunities, including contributing to capture and proposal development for value-based care and quality measurement initiatives

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant health policy industry experience in healthcare consulting, quality improvement, evaluation, and/or policy
  • 8+ years of experience working on value-based care payment initiatives
  • Broad understanding of federal health policy issues, with ability to work in multiple areas serving as a value-based care and quality subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings to non-technical audiences
  • Highly motivated, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional project teams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
