About GameChanger:

We believe in the life-changing impact youth sports have on and off the field because they encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence—important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community-building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

GameChanger is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead a portfolio of cross-functional teams focused on building and scaling new consumer experiences that expand how athletes, families, and communities engage with GameChanger. You will manage and develop Product Managers while driving product strategy and execution from concept through launch. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Business leaders to identify opportunities, validate customer needs, and deliver innovative products that create long-term value for our users and business. You will report to our SVP of Product Management.

This role sits within a team responsible for exploring and developing new opportunities for GameChanger's future growth. You will operate in an environment that combines strategic thinking, customer discovery, experimentation, and execution—helping bring new experiences to market while navigating ambiguity and evolving business priorities.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for identifying, validating, and scaling new product opportunities that expand GameChanger's impact across youth sports.

  • Define and drive product strategy by combining customer insights, market opportunities, business objectives, and experimentation to bring innovative products and experiences from concept to market.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, CX, Marketing, and Business leaders to align teams around a shared vision and deliver high-quality products that create meaningful value for users and the business.

  • Navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful investment decisions as opportunities evolve, balancing long-term strategy with near-term execution.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing product managers while fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and customer obsession.

Who You Are:

  • An experienced product leader with a proven track record building and scaling consumer-facing technology products, including leading Product Managers and cross-functional teams through periods of significant growth and change.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where strategy, customer needs, and market opportunities are still being defined.

  • A strong product thinker who can identify customer problems, evaluate opportunities, and translate insights into products that drive meaningful business outcomes.

  • An effective communicator and collaborator who excels at alignment-building, influencing stakeholders, and leading through complexity.

  • Passionate about building exceptional user experiences and developing inclusive, high-performing teams.

  • Curious about emerging technologies and excited by the opportunity to help shape the future direction of a growing business.

Perks:

  • Work remotely throughout the US* or from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Unlimited vacation policy.

  • Paid volunteer opportunities.

  • Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years after your start to make sure you have the latest and greatest technology.

  • WFH stipend - $500 annually to make your WFH situation comfortable.

  • Monthly physical, mental, wellness & learning stipend offered through Holisticly.

  • Monthly lifestyle stipend offered through Fringe.

  • Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA, HRA, HSA, and coverage for family/dependents.

  • Retirement savings - Traditional and Roth 401K plans are offered through Vanguard, with an immediate company match.

  • Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life.

  • Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability.

  • Company paid parental leave - up to 20 weeks for birthing parents and up to 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.

  • Family building benefits offered through Progyny.

  • DICK'S Sporting Goods and their family of brands teammate discount.

The target salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $255,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
