Position Summary:
You will drive the success of your Products. This leader of Product Managers works alongside other Product Director(s) and reports to the Snr Director of Product Management. The main purpose of the position is to provide complete ownership of the performance and evolution of numerous Product Clouds. The current Clouds for this role include Safety and Quality, although responsibilities may change as needed.
Major duties and responsibilities include:
- Guide, mentor, manage, and direct the success of your Product Managers and their products
- Envision, define, and execute the roadmap for your Product Clouds
- Be accountable for the business goals of your Product Clouds
- Define and refine processes related to product management
- Work closely with Engineering Managers and Directors to develop strong product development processes and execute on development plans
- Support and solve escalations related to product development priorities and commitments
- Support Sales and Marketing to advance their portfolio of Products
- Actively participate on the Senior Leadership Team to provide updates and shape the direction of the Company
- Periodically report to the Executive team on the status of the Product portfolio under management
QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor’s Degreein Engineering, Science, Business, orrelated field;and/or bachelor’s degreein Computer Science,Information Technology,or related field.
- 10+ years of SaaS experience
- 5+ years as a subject matter expert in Safety experience is highly desired
- Experience managing staff is highly desired
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention todetail
- Communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical to the success of this candidate
- Ability to grasp issues, problem solve, and suggest innovativesolutions
