The Gogo Director, Product Management – In-Cabin Network will play a key role in the continued development and evolution of in-cabin hardware, software and network-based services. This role involves managing various aspects of in-cabin network – switching backbone, advanced intelligent routing capabilities, in-cabin Wi-Fi. Through planning, execution and optimization of key metrics, the Director, Product Management will increase the market penetration and increase the revenue streams built on top of Gogo’s market-leading aviation products and network.
This is an exciting position that will coordinate with fellow hardware and services product managers to provide a single, consolidated effort for all items that impact Gogo’s leading in-flight connectivity products. How will you make a difference?
Develop and evangelize clear product vision, strategy, value proposition and roadmaps for aviation solutions in line with company strategy and market needs
Manage overall product lifecycle from conception to obsolescence
Work with a cross functional team to define new product features, guide product design, development and integration.
Manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, aircraft manufacturers, channel partners and vendors to meet their expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Aerospace, or a related field, MBA preferred
7+ years of relevant product management
5+ years’ experience leading, mentoring, and coaching a team
Required Skills, Experience and Talents
Industry knowledge of the business aviation industry, including regulations, standards and best practices
Prior experience in managing aviation product lifecycle
Experience in networking, hardware & software, routing/switching protocols and Wi-Fi technologies
Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Able to design innovative features and cohesive products from analytics, have an eye for details, and focus on users, results, and business goals

Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage trade-offs

160,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive:
