The Director, USCA Pricing and Promotions, sets the pricing and promotional strategy for the U.S. and Canada Cluster. You will increase financial excellence, margin growth, and revenue through disciplined pricing, innovative promotional strategies, and seamless execution across both DTC and wholesale channels.
We are looking for someone with expertise in pricing dynamics, promotional strategy, and market execution in the retail or apparel sector. The Director will partner cross-functionally across Merchandising, Commercial, Marketing, Planning, Finance, and Operations to ensure USCA pricing and promotions elevate the consumer journey, protect brand premiumization, and maximize profitability. You will report to our VP, US/Canada Merchandising & Licensing.
About the JobPricing & Promotional Strategy Development
Develop USCA pricing and promotional strategies that deliver financial targets while strengthening Levi's brand positioning.
Create pricing architectures across tiers, genders, fits, and regions that align with assortment strategies and growth priorities.
Leverage advanced analytics and AI-driven tools to refine promotional strategies, reduce discounting, and maximize revenue.
Expand successful pricing and promo models in the USA & Canada, ensuring consistency across the Cluster.
Market and Competitive Analysis
Monitor competitor pricing and promotions to identify threats and opportunities in the marketplace.
Use seasonal insights, consumer feedback, and industry benchmarks to inform promo mechanics, depth, and pace.
Identify opportunities to premiumize the consumer journey through pricing and promotional storytelling.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Merchandising, Commercial, Planning, Marketing, and Operations to integrate pricing and promotions into go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with merchants to ensure pricing guardrails and promotional guidance are embedded in assortments.
Work with Finance and Data Science to evaluate elasticity models, forecast impacts, and align volume with price changes.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Use dashboards (AI Pricing Dashboard, Promo Analytics Dashboard) to track performance and guide data-informed decisions.
Establish and enforce promo guardrails across channels, balancing consumer impact with financial targets.
Define markdown rules and decision frameworks in consideration of lifecycle, inventory, and margin goals.
Present insights to senior leadership to inform future pricing and promotional strategies.
Team Leadership
Lead the USCA pricing and promotions team.
Foster a culture of inclusivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provide growth opportunities for team members through leadership visibility, strategic projects, and cross-functional exposure.
Policy & Process Development
Establish pricing and promotional guidelines for the USCA cluster to ensure consistency across channels.
Implement tools and processes that simplify execution, increase accuracy, and guide operational excellence.
Support the concept-to-consumer process by promoting pricing and promo expertise throughout the value chain.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
8–10+ years of experience in pricing, promotions, or related strategy roles within retail or apparel.
Experience with pricing dynamics, promotional mechanics, and financial modeling.
Experience balancing profitability with brand positioning and consumer impact.
Proficiency in advanced analytics tools (Excel (can perform complex functions) , SQL, Tableau, and pricing software).
The expected starting salary range for this role is $144,800-$219,300 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
