  • Consult with sales and marketing to proactively develop proposals and partnership deal structures, and work directly with senior sales and client leadership through negotiations

  • Analyze competitor pricing and our client markets to determine the ideal target price for products of the business as well as enterprise, packaging, and bundling strategies

  • Lead a team of analytical resources who collectively power Ibotta’s pricing and deal management work, guiding and developing your team to achieve their full potential as they grow their careers

  • Conduct competitive analysis of product offerings and consult business leaders on competitive opportunities for Ibotta’s products

  • Proactively set KPIs and targets for pricing and deal management, continually identifying performance trends and driving recommendations for improvement

  • Perform margin and pricing analysis to support business initiatives

  • Validate sales estimates for accuracy and profitability

  • Advance our systems for communication, documentation and post-deal performance reviews to identify trends and improve future deal design

  • Represent both the finance and revenue perspective in discussions with product and engineering regarding standardization and automation of pricing processes.

  • Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhere

  • Excellent analytical and research skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Effective reporting and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and imperfect data

  • Skilled in Pricing modeling and analysis, market analysis, and business analysis
