General Description:

The Director of Platform Solutions will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of internal platforms and tools, including low-code platforms, data and analytics solutions, and AI-powered tools. These solutions will enhance business operations, optimize data analytics, and drive innovation across the organization. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of building scalable, enterprise-grade internal solutions that serve cross-functional teams across the organization.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Define and drive the long-term strategy for internal tools, ensuring they align with business needs and maximize efficiency across multiple teams.
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business leaders to gather requirements, identify use cases, and ensure the platform delivers value.
  • Oversee the design, architecture, and roadmap of low-code development platforms, AI/ML-powered analytics tools, and workflow automation systems.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact features, balancing business needs, user requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Partner with software engineering teams to develop prototypes, manage releases, and scale platforms while maintaining high performance and security standards.
  • Assess industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the internal platform remains cutting-edge and competitive in analytics and AI-driven decision-making.
  • Define key success metrics, measure impact, and continuously optimize platform features to enhance usability and effectiveness.
  • Ensure internal tools adhere to compliance, security, and data governance policies, particularly in the pharmaceutical domain. 

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree or an advanced degree in a related discipline 10+ years of experience in software development, internal platform management, or enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of low-code/no-code platforms, data analytics tools, AI/ML applications, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Ability to bridge business requirements with technical execution, ensuring solutions are scalable and user-friendly.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, and business operations.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and working with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data solutions.
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven analytics tools and automation frameworks.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing internal tools, platforms, or analytics solutions at scale.

Salary Range: $190,000.00 - $250,000.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. All Company employees have the opportunity to own shares of BeiGene, Ltd. stock because all employees are eligible for discretionary equity awards and to voluntarily participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
