We are seeking a Director of National Accounts to build and run our national accounts program from the ground up. You will open doors, negotiate partnerships, and directly drive revenue for franchise owners across the country, while also coaching those owners to close more business in their own markets.

Job Description

Build the National Accounts Program

  • Develop and execute a national accounts strategy that creates qualified, multi-state business opportunities for new and existing franchise locations.
  • Identify, prospect, and close partnerships through networking, outreach, and lead generation, including direct engagement with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Vet partner opportunities, negotiate proposals and contracts, and ensure the accounts you bring on serve the franchise locations they benefit.
  • Grow and maintain existing accounts in ways that increase recurring business, brand exposure, and long-term franchise value.
  • Track your pipeline, report monthly results, and refine your approach based on what the data tells you.

Support Franchisees in Winning

  • Train franchise owners, individually and in groups, on activating national account relationships in their local markets.
  • Provide direct sales coaching, help close deals, and serve as a resource that franchisees can count on.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, training, and technology teams to ensure programs run smoothly and franchisees get results.
  • Participate in onboarding new franchisees and integrating national accounts into their early growth plan.
  • Communicate regularly with the President, reporting weekly on progress and surfacing opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development or B2B sales experience in a professional services environment.
  • At least 2 years of proven success generating leads, working a sales funnel, and closing deals with C-suite buyers.
  • Strong business acumen: understanding of sales cycles, forecasting, data analysis, and how to drive consistent, reportable growth.
  • Experience leading live training or coaching for professional audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; you are equally comfortable on a phone call, in a boardroom, and in a group training session.
  • Proficiency across MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM platforms, and social media outreach tools.
  • Self-directed and accountable, you do not need someone to tell you what to do next.
  • Strong analytical skills; experience in strategic planning, change management, or conflict resolution is a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Travel: Up to 25% domestic, including franchise visits, training sessions, and our Annual Conference. A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
