Director of Marketing (Marketing Unicorn)
Full-Time | Remote - US Based
The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the overall marketing vision, strategy, and performance for The Boutique Hub. This role oversees the marketing team and ensures all marketing channels managed by the team; email, social, organic content, and platform-based campaigns are aligned, effective, and driving measurable growth.
This role requires a deep understanding of memberships, sales funnels, webinars, online courses, and course launches, lead generation, and education business optimization. This role will begin by overseeing these efforts and the marketing team, while working in coordination with Boutique Hub company leadership, with the future opportunity of executive-level leadership development.
The Director of Marketing sets the roadmap, ensures strong systems are in place, and empowers the marketing team to execute at a high level, leveraging team analytics, accountability and strategy.
What You’ll Manage
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve The Boutique Hub’s overall marketing strategy across all products, programs, and launches with the coordination of our CEO and leadership team.
- Translate company goals into clear, actionable marketing priorities and quarterly plans
- Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, ensuring clarity in roles, accountability, and growth
- Set expectations, KPIs, and success metrics for all marketing channels and team members
- Act as a strategic thought partner to leadership on growth, positioning, and audience engagement
Channel Oversight (Email, Social, Paid & Organic)
- Oversee marketing team performance with existing team members across:
- Lead generation funnels
- Membership and product funnels
- Webinar to product funnels
- Course creation and product launches
- Email & SMS marketing
- Organic social media
- Content and organic growth initiatives
Performance, Data & Optimization
- Own marketing reporting and insights across channels
- Track performance against KPIs including growth, engagement, conversion, and revenue impact
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scale winning campaigns, identify underperforming efforts
- Present clear insights and recommendations to leadership regularly
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Content, Design, Sales, Events, and Leadership teams
- Align marketing strategy with product development, education, and membership growth
- Guide campaign planning for major launches, promotions, and evergreen initiatives
- Own high-level funnel strategy and customer journeys across Kajabi, email, and CRM systems
- Maintain a strong understanding of Kajabi capabilities and limitations to guide strategic decisions
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Have 7+ years of marketing experience, including leadership or senior-level ownership
- Have led multi-channel marketing strategies for membership,online course, education, live event, eCommerce, or community-based brands
- Are highly strategic and can zoom out while still understanding how execution works
- Have experience leading and developing a marketing team
- Understand Kajabi at a functional and strategic level
- Are confident using data to drive decisions and optimize performance
- Communicate clearly, thoughtfully, and collaboratively
- Understand and appreciate small businesses and the retail industry
- Thrive in a fast-moving, mission-driven, remote environment
