The Director of Marketing will drive demand generation and revenue impact through automation and AI, build a modern marketing system, manage demand creation across channels, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
The summary above was generated by AI

Capitalize is on a mission to radically change how organizations make decisions. We help companies replace manual, error-prone processes with automated, intelligent systems that drive real performance—so leaders get the right data at the right time, and teams stop living in spreadsheets.

We work at the intersection of process automation, analytics, and AI—using platforms like Alteryx, UiPath, Workday Adaptive Planning, Databricks (and the modern data ecosystem around them) to deliver outcomes that actually show up in the business: faster closes, cleaner forecasting, fewer exceptions, stronger governance, and smarter decisions.

We move fast, speak plainly, and measure success by results. Our culture is transparent, high-energy, and performance-driven, with hub cities across the U.S. and a flexible, remote work model.

If you want to build marketing that creates pipeline and helps organizations step into the AI era with confidence—keep reading.

The Role

Capitalize is seeking a Director of Marketing to build, own, and scale a revenue-driving demand

generation engine.

This is not a “brand-only” role. This is for a builder and operator who treats marketing as a

growth function tied directly to pipeline and revenue—and who gets excited about using automation + AI to move faster, learn faster, and win faster.

You will create a modern marketing system that:

● Generates consistent, qualified demand

● Sharpens our positioning around automation + AI-enabled transformation

● Activates our partner ecosystem

● Turns our delivery expertise into market credibility

● Makes performance visible (no vanity metrics)

Why This Role Is Exciting (Especially Right Now)

Most companies aren’t struggling because they lack tools—they’re struggling because work is still

manual, fragmented, and slow. AI has raised expectations overnight… but it also exposed a gap:

organizations need help operationalizing automation and AI into real workflows.

At Capitalize, marketing gets to tell (and prove) a story that matters:

● From manual reporting → to automated pipelines

● From spreadsheet planning → to connected forecasting

● From human-in-the-loop bottlenecks → to AI-assisted decisions

● From one-off automation → to scaled, governed transformation

You won’t just market “services.” You’ll market measurable change.

What You’ll Own

1) Revenue & Demand (Primary)

● Own lead generation, demand creation, and measurable pipeline impact

● Build and scale a repeatable engine across channels: website, SEO/SEM, email, social, content,

events, partner motions

● Establish and manage clear KPI dashboards (MQL → SQL → pipeline → revenue, CAC, ROI, conversion

rates, velocity)

● Partner tightly with Sales to align ICP, messaging, offers, and follow-up motions

2) Automation + AI-Driven Marketing Ops (A Core Advantage)

You will design marketing to run like a high-performing system—leveraging automation and AI to

increase speed, precision, and quality.

● Implement automation workflows to reduce manual effort and increase throughput

● Improve attribution, routing, scoring, and nurture logic so leads convert reliably

● Build an “AI-enabled” content and campaign operating model (research, personalization,

repurposing, testing, analysis—done faster and smarter)

● Create a scalable approach to segmentation, lifecycle, and intent-driven messaging

3) Positioning & Market Clarity

● Own category-level messaging that makes Capitalize easy to understand and easy to choose

● Translate what we do best—automation + analytics + AI—into clear, compelling narratives by

persona (Finance, Ops, HR, IT/Analytics)

● Build content and campaigns that feel like “we understand your world,” not generic tech

marketing

4) Team, Partners, and Execution

● Build, develop, and level up a high-performing marketing team (internal + external)

● Decide what to build vs. buy vs. outsource—and own the outcomes either way

● Select, manage, and hold vendors accountable to performance and ROI

● Activate co-marketing with strategic partners (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath, Workday Adaptive,

Databricks) to unlock leverage and credibility

5) Cross-Functional Leadership

● Serve as connective tissue between Leadership, Business Development, Sales, and Delivery to

ensure alignment and execution

● Bring calm and clarity to chaos—cut through competing priorities and focus the team on what

drives results

What Success Looks Like (Clear Outcomes)

In the first 90 days, you will:

● Audit current performance and define a simple, measurable growth plan

● Tighten ICP and offers (assessments, health checks, POCs/MVPs, phased roadmaps)

● Build reporting that makes pipeline impact undeniable

● Stand up a prioritized channel mix and operating cadence that improves every month

By 6–12 months, you will:

● Deliver a predictable pipeline contribution and improved conversion rates

● Establish Capitalize as a credible voice in automation + AI-enabled transformation

● Build a marketing system that scales without heroics—because the machine works

The Kind of Leader We’re Looking For

● You are performance-driven and allergic to fluff.

● You build systems, not one-off campaigns.

● You can operate hands-on and lead strategically.

● You are energized by automation, experimentation, and accountability.

● You can translate complex work into simple, market-ready stories.

● You care about craft—but you care more about outcomes.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

● 8–12+ years in performance-driven marketing, ideally in professional services, technology,

analytics/automation, or B2B consulting

● Proven track record generating pipeline and revenue impact (not just awareness)

● Deep understanding of funnel mechanics, attribution, experimentation, and optimization

● Experience building and leading high-output marketing teams and vendor ecosystems

● Strong marketing operations capability (automation workflows, reporting, lifecycle, segmentation)

● Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth, high-accountability environments

● Direct, transparent communicator who takes ownership and drives alignment

If you’re a marketing leader who wants to build a modern demand engine—and you believe automation + AI are the next competitive moat for companies everywhere—we want to meet you.

Flexible, remote-first with hub cities across the U.S. (team collaboration and periodic travel as

needed).
