We’d love to hear from you if:

Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.

About the Role

As the Director of Marketing Operations, you will lead the function tasked with operational excellence across Tinuiti’s marketing organization. Sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role ensures top priorities are translated into scalable systems, structured workflows, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll lead a small, high-impact team dedicated to annual planning, project delivery, and process innovation. Your work will serve as the operational backbone of the marketing organization — bringing alignment, visibility, and momentum to everything we ship.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Translate strategic marketing priorities into executable plans, resourcing frameworks, and cross-team workflows

  • Own the marketing operating model and ensure consistency between strategy and day-to-day execution

  • Act as the central coordination point for the marketing calendar, campaign planning, and timeline management

  • Track and report operational KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, intake volume, work distribution) to guide team performance and decision-making

Process & Systems Optimization

  • Lead the adoption, usage, and ongoing refinement of Wrike (or equivalent PM platform) across the marketing team

  • Build intake systems, documentation, and workflow standards that reduce ambiguity and improve delivery speed

  • Set expectations for how work moves through the org, ensuring clean handoffs and clear accountability

  • Continuously identify, test, and improve systems that support scale and simplify how teams work

Team & People Leadership

  • Manage and coach a small team focused on integrated marketing execution and cross-functional project management

  • Define scope, success metrics, and development plans for direct reports

  • Reinforce role clarity and enablement across the org without creating unnecessary layers

  • Partner with Brand Studio, Events, Product Marketing, Comms, Content, and Demand Gen leadership to balance shared priorities and unlock smoother collaboration

Strategic Enablement

  • Project manage select high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across Marketing and the Commercial team when centralized coordination is needed

  • Serve as a strategic gatekeeper — championing high-impact work and redirecting low-priority requests

  • Act as the escalation point for resourcing conflicts, delivery risks, and misaligned workflows

  • Build confidence and calm through structured planning, thoughtful communication, and operational discipline

  • Elevate the visibility of the Marketing Operations function through documentation, reporting, and storytelling

You Might Be a Fit If You...
  • Have 6+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or cross-functional project leadership, ideally in a B2B or agency environment

  • Have successfully scaled or redefined marketing systems, tools, or processes — and know how to drive adoption across cross-functional teams in a way that builds alignment, not friction

  • Lead with clarity, structure, and a strong sense of accountability

  • Are highly organized and have a track record of bringing clarity and structure to complex or undefined situations

  • Are comfortable working with senior leadership and executives, and can communicate clearly across levels of the organization

  • Understand that great operations are a means to better performance — enabling teams to do their best work through structure, not bureaucracy

  • Thrive in environments where influence, alignment, and collaboration are as important as systems

  • Have experience implementing and scaling project management tools like Wrike, Asana, Jira, Monday, or similar

Why This Role Matters
