The Director of Marketing will lead all marketing activities in North America, focusing on strategy, pipeline generation, and cross-functional collaboration to increase brand presence and revenue.
About Auror
At Auror, we're empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It's high volume crime that's increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.
Founded in New Zealand 11 years ago, we're working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We're using technology for good.
In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you're looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.
We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact-whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.
The Role
As Director of Marketing, North America, you'll own the strategy and execution of all marketing activities across the region. From pipeline generation to field events to regional storytelling, you'll be responsible for making Auror visible, trusted, and impactful across the U.S. and Canada.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You'll work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to build pipeline, accelerate deals, and bring our brand to life in the market.

Cross-Functional Leadership
You'll be reporting to Heather Gadonniex , Acting Chief Marketing Officer.
I've spent the last two decades helping growth-stage companies find their focus, align their teams, and build go-to-market systems that scale without losing their magic. I'm an operator and builder by nature, and I love co-creating clarity with teams and setting a high bar for performance and purpose.
I'm passionate about helping marketing teams become market makers and revenue engines, not just service departments. I'm also a big believer in unifying cross-functional teams around a common vision and operating cadence, maintaining collaboration and strengthening culture as we grow. At Auror, I'm excited to recruit team members that thrive in collaborative environments and want to play a critical role in shaping our next chapter of our growth.
Outside of work, I spend my time on our intergenerational family vineyard wrangling two boys, enjoy a slow-food meal paired with good wine and good people, and attempting to get my daily dose of mindfulness and exercise through yoga and pilates.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with the following:
