The Director, Marketing and Brand Growth owns the development and management of an impactful strategic marketing plan that supports UC Health’s mission and growth goals.  The Director, Marketing and Brand Growth leads a highly collaborative and effective cross-functional marketing team that strives for flawless execution that results in an optimal brand growth.  This role will bring a suite of marketing skills and innovative forward focus approach to ensure the organization is set up to deliver growth plans and increase market share.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of outstanding leadership, a strategic approach, proven capability to build brands and implement innovative integrated marketing activations, with a highly collaborative approach, and a passion for delivering impact for our patients.  

Responsibilities

UC Health Brand Growth:

In Partnership with the VP of Marketing & Brand Growth drive business impact from Marketing efforts through increased brand awareness, consumer preference and consumer loyalty. 

Responsibilities include:
•    Identify, manage and outline strategic brand/image growth opportunities to help maintain and grow market share driving enhanced differentiation in support of achieving strategic goals.
•    Drive cross-functional collaboration that creates new value for the organization, fueling business growth and sustainability.
•    Ensure that branding, marketing and communications tools/assets are in place to support the brand and operational strategies. 
•    Align, collaborate, and learn with key partners across the organization to ensure strategies are scalable, relevant, and seamlessly implemented locally, regionally and nationally.
•    Drive a culture of collaboration across the organization.

Annual Marketing Plan:

Lead the Marketing team in developing an innovative and effective annual marketing plan that supports organizational growth goals.

Responsibilities include:
•    Manage various advertising agencies to develop and produce engaging creative and tactics via traditional and innovative channels.
•    Develop compelling ROI focused marketing activations to achieve priority brand and business objectives leveraging paid, earned and owned media strategies.  
•    Use data, insights, and industry/competitor trends to craft media strategies that support UC Health’s growth plans.  
•    Activate team, agencies, broader marketing teams and partners to bring ideas, programs, and campaigns to life.
•    Build and nurture cross-functional relationships across the organization to drive adoption of marketing strategies and positive impact on organizational growth.
•    Budget planning and tracking. 
•    Department measurement and analytics (KPIs, etc).

Marketing Standardization & Optimization:

Create internal marketing synergies and processes that expand brand exposure while optimizing relationships with internal and external partners to deliver organizational growth.

Responsibilities include:
•    Marketing planning activities schedule and sequencing (what, when, how)
•    Consumer insights marketing integration 
•    Guide the plan to ensure standard work and processes across organization over time
•    Slow cycle tools standardization and integration 
•    Analyze marketing efforts to drive constant optimization.
•    Implement best in class marketing process across the department.

Creative Design and Project Management:

Ensure UC Health’s creative is compelling and remains on brand while clearly articulating core brand attributes and points of differentiation to drive results. 

Responsibilities include:
•    Oversee the team that manages the creative processes from intake through completion.
•    Deliver process improvement and strong project management systems.
•    Oversee the print shop and asset management.
•    Build strategic & data visualizations to drive adoption of brand strategies. 

Management of Staff:

Guide team vision, strategies and planning while supporting a culture of learning, sharing and growth.

Responsibilities:
•    Create an inclusive team of high performing individuals leveraging the diversity of skills and expertise to achieve the collective purpose. 
•    Operate as a catalyst to expand the Marketing team’s capabilities and impact across the organization. 

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree. | Minimum Require: 6 - 10 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 11 - 15 Years equivalent experience.
