Position Summary:Marketing at SPS Commerce is evolving and this is your chance to be part of something big.  As our business scales and our global reach expands, we’re building a marketing organization that does more than create awareness; we drive demand, deepen relationships, and deliver measurable impact across every stage of the customer journey.
We’ve reimagined how we work, combining functional expertise with deep customer insight. Our team is structured around key areas like Brand, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing, and we collaborate through cross-functional pods focused on distinct customer segments - from Retailers and Brands to Revenue Recovery & Analytics.
As the Director of Integrated Marketing, you will lead a team responsible for developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies that drive both new business growth and customer expansion. This role oversees a group of Integrated Marketing Managers focused on demand generation and customer lifecycle marketing, ensuring a cohesive, data-driven approach across the full customer journey.
You’ll play a critical role in connecting strategy to execution—aligning marketing programs to business priorities, guiding your team to deliver high-impact campaigns, and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships across Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue teams.
This role is ideal for a leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on team development, and who thrives on driving measurable outcomes through integrated, multi-channel marketing within a SaaS or subscription-based environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Integrated Marketing Managers supporting both demand generation and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Define and drive integrated marketing strategies that span the full funnel—from new business acquisition through customer retention and expansion
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Revenue teams to align marketing initiatives with pipeline and growth goals
  • Oversee the planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns, including digital, email, events, and marketing automation
  • Ensure strong alignment and continuity across demand generation and lifecycle programs to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Guide the use of segmentation, customer insights, and performance data to inform strategy and optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics; monitor results and continuously refine programs to improve pipeline, engagement, and revenue impact
  • Drive a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement across the team
  • Support prioritization, resource planning, and execution to ensure the team delivers against business objectives

Where You'll Work:

This role is either a hybrid position, based out of our Minneapolis office, or open to remote with travel to the office (up to 15%). Our team #SucceedsTogether through collaboration in-office with flexibility to work remotely.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model, with at least 2+ years in a formal people management role
  • 8+ years developing and running integrated marketing campaigns in a SaaS or subscription-based environment, with experience supporting both new business acquisition and customer expansion
  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing within a SaaS or subscription-based business
  • Fluency and skill in developing data-driven campaign plans, with the ability to measure expected outcomes and adapt based on performance
  • Strong strategic thinking skills coupled with the ability to focus intensively on excellent operational execution
  • Fluency and skill with social media
  • Excellent communication skills, both long form and short
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment and exhibit grace under pressure
