What You’ll Do
As the Director of Growth & Partnerships, you’ll wear many hats—leading our growth and development efforts across multiple channels while ensuring clients feel deeply supported and valued.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Own and lead all marketing initiatives including digital advertising, email marketing, social media, branding, and more.
- Build and execute lead generation strategies to drive qualified leads from HR leaders and decision-makers.
- Oversee and continuously refine the entire marketing strategy across channels to ensure brand consistency, performance, and ROI.
- Pull and analyze marketing performance reports (e.g. CAC, CTR, conversion rates) to inform decisions and prioritize high-impact efforts.
- Oversee marketing performance metrics and continuously test/iterate for optimization.
B2B Sales & Outreach
- Design creative sales campaigns and lead direct outreach to HR teams and benefits leaders at mid-sized companies (cold email, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Collaborate with SDR to ensure high email deliverability and list health through smart segmentation, domain management, and sending practices.
- Collaborate with SDR to optimize outbound campaigns and messaging, making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Create and maintain high-impact sales collateral (e.g. pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies) to support outbound and discovery conversations.
- Conduct sales calls and demos with a warm, personable approach, building rapport with HR leaders on sensitive topics such as mental health and DEI.
- Draft contracts and pricing estimates for strong leads and closing sales.
- Manage and maintain our sales pipeline/CRM, including leads sourced from various outbound and inbound channels.
Partnerships
- Spearhead market research to identify emerging trends, potential collaborators, and opportunities within the employee benefits and mental health space.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with aligned companies to drive referrals, co-marketing initiatives, and new revenue streams.
Account Management & Client Experience
- Oversee new client onboarding, including contract execution and final pricing estimates.
- Manage and implement annual client renewals, including contract execution and pricing.
- Monitor and optimize client engagement by promoting new internal mental health programming and resources, and managing the user support team.
- Oversee the client account manager, reviewing monthly invoices and engagement data.
- Oversee client roster management and therapist recruiting initiatives in new locations.
Team Leadership
- Manage our Sales Development Representative and Marketing team.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing culture grounded in trust and continuous learning as we scale.
Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally selling to HR or People teams in the SMB market.
- You’ve worked in mental health, health tech, or mission-driven startups and understand how to balance impact with hands-on execution.
- You’re comfortable working with sales tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Monday.com to manage pipelines, outreach, and reporting.
- You have experience using marketing and advertising platforms including LinkedIn Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, and AI tools to create, run, and optimize campaigns.
- You're not afraid to get your hands dirty—you thrive in a fast-moving, build-as-you-go environment and lead by example.
- You have experience managing direct reports and take pride in building a team culture rooted in trust, inclusion, and continuous growth.
- You’re a team player who collaborates cross-functionally and brings others along with clarity, humility, and optimism.
