🚀 Your Mission

As Director of Global Indirect Procurement & Logistics, you’ll lead the execution of Novanta’s global supply chain strategy for indirect materials, services, and logistics. You’ll drive cost savings, supplier performance, and operational excellence across all business units.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Lead sourcing and logistics workshops to deliver 5% YOY savings
  • Develop strategies for key spend categories: Freight, Travel, IT, HR, Facilities, Marketing, and more
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed global environment
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and manage performance
  • Drive Kaizen events and process improvements aligned with Novanta Growth System
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Travel globally to build supplier relationships and audit performance (25–40%)

🎯 What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance
  • 12+ years in strategic supply chain / sourcing roles.
  • A background within an engineering / manufacturing focused business is desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of global commodity markets and supplier ecosystems
  • Proven success in high-value negotiations, project management, and cost reduction
  • Experience in LEAN, Kaizen, and operational excellence
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in a global, matrixed organization
