THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Director of Fulfillment Programs to lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of key programs across Thrive Market’s fulfillment network. This leader will own initiatives that strengthen safety, quality, training, and process stability—ensuring every site operates to a consistent, high standard of excellence.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader in distribution or supply chain operations, experienced in building scalable systems, developing leaders, and creating consistency across multi-site environments.

This is a remote role with 25–50% travel to our Fulfillment Centers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and advance core network programs including Safety, Quality, Training, and Standard Work.
  • Define and maintain benchmarks for best-in-class fulfillment performance.
  • Establish systems that drive consistency, accountability, and clarity across sites.
  • Build scalable training and onboarding programs for both hourly associates and site leaders.
  • Partner with Operations and HR to define competency frameworks and growth pathways.
  • Foster a learning culture rooted in continuous improvement and empowerment.
  • Identify and simplify workflows to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify trends and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Support WMS enhancements (HighJump, SAP, or similar) and analytical tools (Tableau, Excel Macros, SQL) to inform decisions.
  • Partner closely with Operations, CI, HR, and Tech to align programs with business objectives.
  • Provide clear insights into network performance, risks, and wins through consistent reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10+ years in distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain operations; 5+ years leading multi-site teams or programs.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement, process design, and performance management.
  • Proven experience developing and scaling training and leadership development programs.
  • Advanced analytical capability and WMS proficiency (HighJump, SAP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data visualization and automation tools (Tableau, SQL, Excel Macros).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to influence at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% during initial ramp-up (typically 1–2 weeks/month thereafter).

JOB INFORMATION
  • Base Salary Range: $150,000–$180,000 per year
  • Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, stock options, health & wellness benefits, flexible PTO, and more.
