Role Overview
As the Director, FP&A, you lead financial planning and analysis for our Product Add-Ons and R&D initiatives. You manage projections, financial modeling, and forecasting to support ongoing product development and investment decisions. You partner closely with cross-functional leaders to guide the strategic direction of current products and evaluate the financial impact of future innovations. This role has high visibility within the business and plays a key part in connecting our product investments to broader company goals. You approach your work with a service mindset, enabling partners across Product, Engineering, and Finance to make informed, data-driven decisions.

You collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally to develop strong, trusting connections with stakeholders, uphold and exemplify our company values, and shape the culture within your area.

What you do each day:
- Own the financial planning process for our R&D teams, including modeling, forecasting, and aid in consolidation efforts
- Partner with R&D leadership to guide financial strategy across existing and future product initiatives
- Build and manage detailed financial models that support product investment decisions and roadmap prioritization
- Prepare reporting and financial presentations for internal senior leadership
- Analyze actual vs. forecast results and drive improvements in forecast accuracy
- Improve current planning models and develop new frameworks to support scenario planning and performance evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with key business drivers and operating metrics
- Contribute to strategic projects that involve investment planning, resource allocation, and long-term growth modeling
- Support efforts to enhance planning infrastructure, including participation in the transition to Workday Adaptive Planning
- Deliver clear and timely insights that help business partners make better financial decisions
Qualifications:
- 15+ years in FP&A with 7+ years relevant management experience
- Bachelor's degree with a quantitative focus or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with financial and visualization software (i.e. Adaptive Planning and NetSuite is a plus)
- Expert level skills building financial models and experience establishing scenario planning frameworks

Location Dependent Information
This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $150,000- $170,000 plus 10% bonus. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
