The Director of Finance will act as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, focusing on driving financial performance, growth, and operational efficiency within our diagnostic imaging and mammography centers. This role is responsible for building and evaluating pro forma models for M&A, de novo site expansion, and equipment acquisitions, while providing rigorous operational support and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical skills with a collaborative approach to support multi-site clinical operations.

Here is what you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with a strong preference for experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or multi-site service organizations.
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, VBA, complex formulas) and experience with financial systems (ERP/EHR) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Proven ability to build, analyze, and interpret complex financial models, particularly pro formas.
- Master’s Degree (MBA).
- Experience with joint venture structures in healthcare.
- Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) or billing systems.
- Ability to translate business opportunities into financial projections.
- Ability to partner with non-financial stakeholders (physicians, operators).
- Focused on driving top-line growth and margin expansion.
- Ability to present complex financial matters to executive leadership.
A Day in the Life of a Director of Finance:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Deal Structure & Pro Forma Creation
- Expansion & Growth: Build, maintain, and evaluate complex pro forma financial models for new diagnostic imaging centers, screening initiatives, and service line expansions.
- M&A Support: Develop financial models for acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships, including due diligence and scenario analysis (ROI, IRR).
- Capital Investment: Analyze return on investment for high-cost imaging equipment (e.g., 3D mammography, MRI, CT).
- Pricing Strategy: Analyze payer mix, reimbursement rates, and market trends to support pricing strategies for mammography and diagnostic procedures.
Operations Support & Business Partnership
Strategic Partner: Collaborate with operations leadership to drive profitability, increase revenue, and contain costs.
Metric Analysis: Monitor key financial and operational KPIs (e.g., patient volume, throughput, turnaround time, labor productivity, supply cost per scan) to optimize performance.
Operational Reporting: Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for facility managers and clinicians.
Expense Control: Review site-level labor, supply usage, and fixed asset management, implementing controls to improve margin
- Forecasting & Budgeting
- Financial Planning: Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning process for clinical sites.
- Forecasting: Develop monthly/quarterly forecasts based on, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Variance Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, explaining variances to budget/forecast, and recommending corrective actions.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage operational cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for daily operations.
