Job Summary:
Ping is seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Field Marketing and Demand Generation to lead pipeline growth and accelerate revenue across North America and LATAM. This role is critical in shaping and scaling a data-driven field marketing strategy and implementing a cohesive program framework. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise marketing, B2B demand generation, and program development within the technology and/or cybersecurity space, with a strong focus on strategic planning and cross-functional alignment. This individual will lead a high-performing team of marketers to achieve ambitious  Comment end growth targets.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Ownership: Own the marketing-sourced pipeline number for the Americas region, and total pipeline number in partnership with Sales. Conduct weekly pipeline reviews, represent marketing plans and their forecast and contribution in all sales calls and business reviews.
  • Planning, Strategy and Execution: Define and lead the North America field marketing strategy and plan to drive sales and new customer acquisition. Socialize and gain input on marketing plans from GTM stakeholders throughout development and execution phases to ensure success.
  • Strategic Program Design: Develop and implement a scalable field marketing strategy that drives consistent pipeline across the Americas, balancing broad-based initiatives with region-specific activations to address local market needs.
  • Program Development: Design and execute high-ROI marketing programs including account-based marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, virtual events, executive programs, tradeshows, in-person events, and more.
  • Program Enablement: Develop the foundational tools and resources needed to scale execution, including program playbooks, templates, campaign briefs, and standardized processes. Ensure regional field teams have clear guidance to execute programs consistently and effectively, with room for local adaptation where appropriate.
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the annual field marketing budget to ensure efficient allocation of resources and forecast attainment.
  • Sales Alignment: Work in collaboration with the North America sales teams to align on objectives and initiatives that support pipeline growth and revenue.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership: Partner closely with internal teams (events, digital marketing, partner marketing, marketing operations, sales development reps, etc) on campaign strategies, execution, enablement and follow-up to maximize program success and conversion to pipeline.
  • Performance and Analytics: Leverage data and analytics to optimize campaign performance, attain or exceed KPIs, and measure ROI.Leadership: Build and mentor a team of field marketers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture that aligns with Ping Identity’s values and growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of demand generation experience including ownership of pipeline in a B2B technology organization, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demand Generation Expertise: A deep understanding of the multifaceted buyer's journey in B2B sales and ability to craft tailored marketing programs 
  • Relationship Builder: Proven experience working closely with sales teams to align strategies, build trust, achieve shared goals, and drive mutual accountability.
  • Team Leadership & Influence: Proven leadership and team management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovative Strategist: Strategic thinker with a consistent focus on innovation and continuous improvement to achieve long-term success.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM and various marketing platforms (including Salesforce, Marketo, intent data platforms) and an expert understanding of enterprise lead management and marketing attribution.
  • Education: BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

 

USA: $178,000 - $198,313 + Bonus

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
