BlueConic is looking for a Director of Expansion Sales to own and accelerate growth within our existing customer base. This leader will manage a team of Customer Account Executives focused on expanding our footprint across geographies, business units, and brands – driving true enterprise-scale success with our most strategic customers.

This role sits at the heart of our customer growth engine and requires a passionate, data-driven, and entrepreneurial leader who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the team responsible for all expansion sales across our installed base.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Pre-Sales teams to identify, shape, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain a metrics-driven culture with clear targets around expansion pipeline and revenue.
  • Align with product and marketing to ensure expansion motions are backed by compelling use cases and customer value stories.
  • Drive deep strategic engagement with enterprise customers to uncover new revenue opportunities.
  • Forecast accurately, report consistently, and hold your team accountable to targets.
  • Develop and coach AEs to ensure consistent high performance.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

  • 5–8+ years of B2B sales experience with at least 2+ years managing expansion or enterprise sales teams.
  • Strong track record of driving growth in existing accounts – ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Operationally excellent – lives by the numbers, coaches to the numbers.
  • Entrepreneurial background or mindset; thrives in building functions and teams.
  • Customer-first orientation – sees expansion as a reflection of value delivered.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional partner.
