Summary:
This role is a key contributor within OneDigital’s Executive Benefits Practice providing a positive experience for Executive Benefits clients through the development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients. This position serves as a liaison between the plan sponsor, record-keeper, and the OneDigital Executive Benefits Consultant in order to resolve any plan administration or participant issues. The ideal candidate is passionate about client service, retention, and aspires to deepen their knowledge of executive benefits. They must possess deep and creative problem-solving skills and have outstanding communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):
Act as the lead plan sponsor contact for all day-to-day plan administration issues and requests.
Develop and maintain client administrative project calendars
Follow through on all issues to satisfactory and timely resolution by coordinating with service providers, Executive Benefits Consultant and client.
Create and present materials for plan review and enrollment meetings in conjunction with Executive Benefits Consultants
Record and draft meeting minutes and ensure action items are completed timely
Coordinate plan changes, vendor searches, plan corrections, document changes, plan design and fee analyses.
Maintain and update information in CRM system according to required standards
Research, follow up and resolve client inquiries and issues through effective interaction with clients, plan participants and Executive Benefits Consultants in a timely and professional manner
Build relationships with clients and maintain open lines of proactive communication
Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities within their book of clients
Other duties may include, but not limited to: lead training sessions, documentation and improvement of client related processes and procedures, commissions administration and accounting
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
Ability to quickly form and maintain positive, productive relationships with clients.
Strong business judgment
Experience working with 409A retirement plans
Ability to work and make decisions independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Writes, speaks, and presents clearly and succinctly across a variety of communication settings and adjusts communication style to audience
Excellent customer service skills
Superior attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to work well independently and with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to successfully multitask and manage priorities effectively.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Adobe, Teams and SalesForce
Judgment and problem-solving skills based on precedent
Stay current on company systems and procedures
Critical thinking required for process improvement
Problem solving is required for time sensitive client issues arise which require a prompt decision
Access to highly confidential personnel and financial data
Education, Training and Experience:
Experience working with Nonqualified Deferred Compensation/409A plans
Experience working with Institutional-owned Life Insurance (COLI/BOLI/TOLI)
Bachelor’s Degree required.
7+ years of relationship management experience within the institutional retirement services industry preferred
Life & Variable Life insurance licenses preferred within first year of employment
NQPC Certification required within first year of employment
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
