About the Role

Veriforce is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Director of Events and Marketing Partnerships to lead our event marketing and association partnership efforts across North America primarily and help to coordinate local resources in global expansion markets. This role requires a strong blend of event strategy, contract negotiation, and logistical execution.

In addition to owning our in-person and digital event calendar, the Director will serve as a key relationship manager for industry associations and publications, helping maximize Veriforce’s visibility and engagement through event sponsorships, content partnerships, and speaking opportunities. The role will lead all contract negotiations and execution related to those partnerships.

The Director will also be accountable for the success, performance, and ROI of all event-related initiatives, ensuring every investment supports pipeline growth, brand impact, or client engagement.

This person should be an experienced, highly organized project leader who can influence stakeholders, prioritize initiatives for ROI, and drive measurable outcomes. Travel to industry events is expected as needed. 

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and manage the annual event calendar, including trade shows, partner events, webinars, and hosted field events.
  • Lead strategy and selection of events that align to commercial goals, key verticals, and growth opportunities.
  • Own end-to-end logistics and production for events, including budgeting, vendor management, staffing, and measurement.
  • Create pre- and post-event workflows to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and ROI reporting.
  • Serve as the on-site lead or key point of contact at major events as needed.

Partnership & Sponsorship Management

  • Lead all negotiations and contracting for association and publication partnerships, including sponsorships, co-branded activities, advertising, speaking engagements, and bundled content/event deals.
  • Identify and prioritize partnerships that support both brand awareness and demand generation goals.
  • Manage internal alignment on sponsorship strategy and deliverables across teams (PR, Campaigns, Content, Sales).
  • Track partnership performance and optimize spend based on results.

Webinars & Digital Experiences

  • Oversee strategy and execution of Veriforce-hosted webinars and virtual events.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and partners to source speakers and topics

Qualifications

    • 6+ years of B2B event marketing experience, including trade shows, digital events, and association partnerships.
    • Proven experience negotiating and managing sponsorship agreements and multi-faceted partner relationships.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate with executives.
    • Experience tracking and reporting event KPIs, including pipeline attribution and ROI.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with organizing event logistics
    • Willingness to travel 25%-35% for industry events.
    • Experience in Energy, Safety, or Industrial sectors is a plus.
