Job Description

The Director of Event Experiences will be a key leader in shaping and scaling our global events strategy. This role will partner closely with field and customer marketing teams to execute high-impact external events and conferences while also owning end-to-end execution of key internal events, including Sales Kickoffs, Investor Day, Global Leadership Summit, and President’s Club. 

Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in Denver, CO and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

A core responsibility of this role will be developing a global event strategy and scalable frameworks that can be executed consistently across regions and teams. This includes creating toolkits, best practices, and operational playbooks to ensure alignment and efficiency while allowing for localized customization. From planning and budgeting to content curation and attendee engagement, the Director of Event Experiences will oversee every aspect of the event lifecycle. 

Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and outstanding project management skills. The ideal candidate will excel at executive stakeholder management, uphold the highest standards of execution, and bring a passion for creating memorable and meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

  • 13+ years of experience in global event management, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact events within the software or technology industry 

  • Proven success in building and scaling global event strategies that align with business objectives and brand standards 

  • Deep experience leading the end-to-end planning and execution of both internal and external events, including mid to large-scale conferences, sales kickoffs, executive summits, and recognition programs 

  • Demonstrated ability to create scalable event frameworks, toolkits, and operational playbooks to support regional teams and drive consistency across global initiatives

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into compelling event experiences that engage, inspire, and drive measurable outcomes 

  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously 

  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, customer success, product, and executive stakeholders 

  • Experience working with C-level executives and managing senior stakeholder expectations with professionalism and clarity 

  • Expertise in managing event budgets, vendor relationships, logistics, and content development 

  • Strong understanding of brand, messaging, and audience engagement principles, with the ability to bring them to life through live and virtual experiences 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver clear, concise, and compelling messaging to both internal and external audiences 

  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional experiences at every touchpoint

Additional Information

Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in Denver, CO and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). 

This role is based in the Denver Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation Package
$181,300-$260,590 USD Base Salary + Bonus. This role may be eligible for equity.
