Resource Innovations is seeking a Director, Enterprise Systems & Data Strategy to join our team remotely or in Salt Lake City. The Director, Enterprise Systems & Data Strategy is responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and operational performance of the organization’s enterprise systems and data management capabilities. This role ensures that enterprise platforms and data assets enable scalable, efficient, and data-driven business operations.
The Director will oversee the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core enterprise platforms including Oracle NetSuite, Workday, and Salesforce, while establishing enterprise-wide data governance, integration, and analytics capabilities. This leader will work closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align technology investments with organizational goals and drive continuous improvement through modern enterprise systems and data strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities
Enterprise Systems Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute the enterprise systems strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
- Provide leadership and oversight of core enterprise platforms including Oracle NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, and related applications.
- Ensure enterprise systems support integrated, end-to-end business processes across finance, HR, customer engagement, and operations.
- Lead system implementation, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.
- Establish governance models for enterprise systems including change management, release management, and platform standards.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing agreements.
Enterprise Data Strategy
- Develop and implement an enterprise data strategy that positions data as a strategic organizational asset.
- Establish and lead data governance frameworks, including policies for data ownership, quality, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
- Drive initiatives for data integration, reporting, and analytics enablement across enterprise platforms.
- Partner with business leaders to improve data-driven decision-making and operational insights.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory data requirements.
Platform Integration & Architecture
- Oversee integration between enterprise platforms to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Partner with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure systems align with enterprise technology standards.
- Support development of scalable architecture for enterprise applications and data platforms.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop a team responsible for enterprise systems administration, application support, and data services.
- Establish performance goals and operational metrics for system performance and data quality.
- Foster collaboration between IT teams, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business units for enterprise systems and data initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
- Support digital transformation initiatives through modernization and optimization of enterprise platforms.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA, Information Systems, Data Management, or related discipline) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems, business applications, or enterprise architecture leadership
Enterprise Systems
- Experience leading or managing enterprise platforms such as Oracle NetSuite (ERP), Workday (HCM / Financials), and Salesforce (CRM).
- Experience with enterprise software lifecycle management including implementation, configuration, upgrades, and vendor management.
- Strong understanding of cross-functional business processes including finance, HR, and customer operations.
Data Strategy & Management
- Experience designing or leading enterprise data governance initiatives.
- Understanding of data architecture, data integration, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience enabling enterprise analytics through data management practices.
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Technical Expertise
- Enterprise application integration patterns and APIs
- Cloud-based enterprise platforms

- Experience implementing or optimizing ERP, CRM, or HCM platforms
- Experience establishing a data program to include data classification, enterprise data governance, analytics programs, data warehousing.
- Experience managing enterprise software vendors and system integrators

Compensation & Benefits
Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position. The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $122.5K - $180K. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
