The Work You'll Do:
At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance---helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global landscape. As a Director of Enablement Operations & Communications, you'll build and run the operational backbone that allows Sales Enablement to scale, execute, and communicate effectively. You'll own our AI-driven sales tech stack, drive reporting and insights, and ensure clear, consistent communications reach the sales organization---turning enablement strategy into measurable outcomes.
More specifically, you will:
- Own the strategy, execution, and procurement process of our AI-driven roadmap for the CMS and LMS systems, partnering with Product Marketing and key stakeholders to improve adoption and experience
- Translate strategic enablement priorities into clear project plans, timelines, and deliverables---driving alignment across stakeholders while proactively managing dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs
- Build and maintain enablement reporting and dashboards that surface adoption, engagement, and impact, connecting enablement activity to performance outcomes
- Own the strategy and execution of multi-channel sales enablement communications (meetings, newsletters, emails, Teams channels, and more), producing concise, benefit-oriented messaging with clear calls-to-action
- Champion the Voice of Sales by prioritizing sales experience and WIFM across initiatives and actioning on sales feedback through the Sovos Sales Council and other channels
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of two enablement operations and communications professionals---setting clear goals, priorities, and expectations while fostering accountability and growth
- Establish repeatable operating rhythms for launches, training programs, and communications, and champion project management practices across the team
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance enablement delivery, streamline operations, and drive innovation across the function
What We Need From You
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Marketing, or a related function
- Proven experience owning and managing a sales enablement or revenue tech stack; experience with enablement platforms (Mindtickle, Highspot, etc.) strongly preferred
- Strong project management background with demonstrated ability to run complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience creating and managing internal communications for a sales or internal audience
- Demonstrated success building reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights
- Ability to influence without authority and partner effectively across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and IT
- Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level; previous team or cross-functional leadership preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and a builder mentality---able to create structure and clarity in evolving environments
- Clear, concise communicator who can simplify complexity and turn data into actionable recommendations
- Global mindset with the ability to balance center-of-excellence standards with regional execution needs
- Comfort and curiosity with AI tools and emerging technologies to drive smarter, faster enablement outcomes
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
