As a member of our Data Consulting team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective solutions that help clients optimize and customize their benefit programs.

The Role

As a Senior Data Consultant, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts and overseeing the successful delivery of data consulting services for clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, collaborating directly with clients, consultants, and internal Fidelity associates to understand business requirements, identify data and administration needs, and develop customized solutions.

In this role, you will lead client engagements from strategy through execution, ensuring projects are managed effectively, delivered on time, and aligned with client objectives. • Proactively identify risks and challenges, developing practical solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Gather, analyze, and apply client-specific benefit plan knowledge, including administrative processes, system configurations, data structures, and operational requirements.

  • Partner across client and internal teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that improve outcomes and enhance the client experience.

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • 12 plus years of experience in Defined Contribution consulting, client management, or benefits administration leadership within a corporate benefits organization, outsourcing provider, or consulting firm.

  • 3 plus years of business development experience, including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing new business.

  • 4 plus years of program or project management experience in a client-facing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Defined Contribution plans and recordkeeping administration is required.

  • Experience with Defined Benefit plans, Stock Plans, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Health and Welfare administration, payroll systems, or HRIS platforms is a plus.

  • Proven ability to lead the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and solution design through contract execution.

  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trust with clients and partners.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

  • Demonstrated expertise in program and project management, including managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Deep knowledge of the Defined Contribution marketplace, industry trends, and operational practices.
